The Surf Lodge needed capacity for 1,000+ wireless devices during their busy season. They also needed a secure network for their computer systems, booking system, reservation system and payment processing…all while maintaining WAN redundancy.
We achieved this by installing a Peplink multi-wan router, Ruckus ZoneDirector and Ruckus Access Points. Careful network design allowed us to implement VLANs to segregate the networks and isolate guest traffic from other network traffic. Google Play Music payed us a compliment as everything worked well for their needs during the summer we implemented this setup. They were amazed with the speed and security of the initial setup and also thrilled at the turnaround time when they requested certain network modifications.
The owner was happy as we were under budget and on-time. The staff and patrons enjoy the fast WiFi across the property.
