Mydent International – 3CX / VoIP

Plan, build and implement a 3CX Cloud Hosted solution. Built the 3CX server in the cloud to offer resiliency. Setup hardened Linux SBC at client location which tunnels traffic to cloud securely. Ported all of the client’s phone numbers over to SIP provider, including the fax line. Provisioned ATA via SIP Trunk provider to securely handle all faxing, while utilizing store and forward technology to ensure that no faxes are missed. Using the 3CX solution with a reliable SIP Trunk provider saved the client money versus the local ISP, who was unreliable and expensive.

The client loves being able to listen to voicemail directly from email and also using the 3CX client on their smartphones. The newly release 3CX Web Client was an added bonus. This was a huge upgrade as the client came from an antiquated Avaya system all for a budget friendly cost.

As always, I had fun working on this project and look forward to more 3CX setups in the future.
